Study groups

Study group aimed at recent graduates or professionals with basic knowledge of Psychoanalysis who wish to rethink their practices based on ancient and contemporary texts. The group will be conducted in online meetings with a minimum of 4 participants, schedule to be arranged.

For recent graduates or experienced analysts who want to (re)think the way they work. This will be a group of 4 meetings where we will cover the following points:

First meeting: Setting up my space

1. What is psychoanalysis all about?

2. What audience do I want to reach? Children? Teenagers? Adults? Seniors?

3. Online or in-person consultation?

4. Cost of clinical hour

5. Basic accounting: Individual or corporate? Technical implications

Second Meeting: Employment Contract

1. Work framework (setting)

2. How am I supposed to work with absences, fees, holidays, therapy sessions, messages, vacations, and attendance?

3. What are my minimum requirements?

Third Meeting: How do I work?

1. Online or in-person analysis? Implications

2. Implications of physical spaces (renting, subletting, sharing), and providing online services (what space will be used for the service, acoustics).

3. Which type of patient do I want to treat?

Fourth Meeting: What happens when we see patients?

1. The first sessions (interviews)

2. What questions about themselves is this patient able to ask themselves?

3. What an analysis can provide
